Negotiation as an element of communication in public meetings Training in partnership with MIA




In the period 26 to 28 February 2013, CReDO in partnership with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova organized 3 training courses on "Negotiation as an element of communication in public meetings".

Event duration was 3 days (26 to 28 February 2013)  included northern areas (Balti), Center (Chisinau) and South (Comrat). The event was organized within the project "Strengthening freedom of assembly in Moldova" supported by the European Commission Delegation in Moldova as part of the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR), and implemented under the Collaboration Agreement signed on 10.08.2011 between Ministry of Internal Affairs and Human Rights Resource Centre (CReDO).

Trainings were organized for Deputy Commissioners, Public Order Police Chiefs, Heads of Public Order for Service to patrol and sentry chiefs and chiefs of Personnel and Education Service  from the local police offices.

The training was based on the analysis of crowd behavior models described by classical and  modern theories  ,  importance of communication and negotiation during assemblies, the basic principles of public order,  a  concrete case study ,which real held in a country other than the Republic of Moldova.

The training was based on interactve discussion, analysis, feedback.
